A CtP system, consisting of CRON UVP 4696GX+ thermal platesetter and Glunz & Jensen HDX thermal plate processing machine. The built-in BACHER 2000 registration system provides very high accuracy of plate perforation (0.05 mm), which significantly reduces the preparation time and enables much better colour matching. The head drive, based on a linear motor, is much more accurate than traditional rotor drives and enables steady movement of the head along the drum, resulting in a smoother printed image. In combination with 96 high performance UV diodes, it enables the processing of plates at a resolution of 2400 dpi with visible raster points across the whole colour range (1-99%) at a speed of 900 rotations per minute. In emergency situations, we still have a fully functioning Xpose! system available, ensuring production continuity.
GMG digital proofing system with EPSON STYLUS PRO 4900 printer. The printer has an integrated autocalibration and certification system, Spectro Proofer, which with its built-in spectrophotometer enables full calibration of the system, according to any ISO profile (we use the ISO Coated v2 profile) and certification of the proof print-outs.

This program enables us to accept printing materials online. After we have processed the materials, we upload an electronic version of the book to our server, at a suitable resolution and layout that enables the client to accept the material online, using a regular web browser. This means there is no longer any need to send paper test prints. The program enables online file transfers, checks the correctness of the received files, generates reports on any errors that may have occurred during graphic processing, and finally enables the client to accept the materials, either page by page or all at once. If an error is detected, the client can send the corrected file, which after processing will be immediately integrated with the rest of the material. In just a few hours from imposition of the materials, the client can accept the material on their computer and the printing house can start production immediately. So, without investing in any software, a total of 2 to 4 days can be saved in the book production cycle – the time which is usually wasted on sending test prints in both directions.
