WASTE SORTING
Why is recycling important?
Recycling is necessary mainly for environmental reasons – it prevents landfill sites from overflowing. Landfill sites must be properly secured to reduce their undesirable effects on the environment. Some waste is extremely harmful to the environment and people. The 5R rule, which should be implemented in every household and company, makes a difference.
Each raw material sorted is yet another measurable benefit for people and the environment. You can learn about the usefulness and importance of recycling by looking at the numbers. A tonne of waste paper (usually in a blue container) is the equivalent of 17 trees.
Recycling waste paper produces items, such as notebooks and folders. A tonne of glass is the raw material for around 3,000 bottles of 1.5 litres. Nearly 100 fleeces can be obtained by recycling a tonne of plastic bottles, and the same amount of foil can be used to produce tens of thousands of new bags useful during everyday shopping. These numbers speak for themselves. Recycling also enables significant energy savings.
As a conscious company, we know that waste disposal is of key importance in environmental protection and shaping a mature market on a global scale. For this reason, our company has labelled waste disposal containers separated by raw material.
Waste sorting is also closely linked to the recycling and reuse of various materials to ensure that as few harmful substances as possible are released into the environment.
