President of Opolgraf S.A. Awarded the Gold Cross of Merit

On June 25, 2025, a formal state awards ceremony was held in Warsaw, during which Mr. Bartosz Mazurkiewicz – President of the Management Board of Opolgraf S.A. – was awarded the Gold Cross of Merit.

This distinction, granted by the President of the Republic of Poland, is awarded to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional achievements in public, social, or professional activity. The decoration was presented on behalf of the President of Poland by Mr. Marek Rymsza, Presidential Advisor for Social Policy.

Bartosz Mazurkiewicz received the Gold Cross of Merit in recognition of his long-standing efforts to support the development of Polish culture and creative communities, as well as his contributions to the growth of the printing industry and the promotion of reading in Poland. As President of Opolgraf S.A., he has been actively involved in social and cultural initiatives, working closely with public institutions, non-governmental organizations, and publishers, while also supporting educational efforts and initiatives that promote national heritage.

This prestigious award is not only a personal honor for the President of the Board, but also a recognition of the entire Opolgraf team, whose work and commitment have consistently contributed to the development of the publishing and printing sector in Poland.

"OPOLGRAF" JOINT STOCK COMPANY is implementing a project co-financed by the Re-Open UK Programme entitled "Investments in OPOLGRAF S. A. as a response to the negative effects of Brexit". The aim of the project is to counteract the negative effects of Brexit. The implementation of the project will improve the quality and colour of final products through more precise and accurate halftone dots with much sharper edges, as well as much greater resistance to wear during the production process. By implementing the project, the Applicant will be able to compensate for the increase in trading costs with the United Kingdom. The total project value is 254,610.00 EUR, of which the contribution from the European Funds is 199,000.00 EUR.
