Rules of the tree planting campaign “#Tree for Books”

• GENERAL PROVISIONS

1. The tree planting campaign (hereinafter the “Campaign”) runs from 01.10.2022 to 01.10.2023 and is organised by Opolgraf S.A. (hereinafter the “Organiser”).
2. The Campaign is implemented in cooperation with PGL LP Nadleśnictwo Opole, ul. Groszowicka 10 45- 517 Opole (hereinafter referred to as “Partner”).
3. The Campaign is environmentally friendly and aims to strengthen sensitivity to climate change and to promote a variety of environmentally friendly activities, in particular the planting of trees in cities, forests and their periphery, which has a positive impact on air quality, allows the ambient temperature to remain lower and absorbs the carbon dioxide produced.

• RULES OF THE CAMPAIGN

1. The Campaign is open to any of the Organiser’s customers who use the Organiser’s services and who have placed and paid for a production order with the Organiser during the period of the Campaign and have agreed by email or telephone through their account manager to join the Campaign and to have the above order covered by the Campaign. One tree will be planted for each such order.
2. Tree planting will take place in the areas of the Polish State Forests designated by the Partner and on dates to be agreed between the Organiser and the Partner.
3. The Organiser may publicise the number of trees planted as part of the Campaign on its websiteand at the Organiser’s discretion on social media.
4. With the agreement of the Organiser and the Partner, the customer referred to in paragraph 1 or an authorised person designated by the customer will be allowed to physically participate in the tree planting process.
5. The Organiser will give several days’ notice of the expected date of tree planting. Tree planting will only take place during the autumn and spring seasons as recommended by the Forestry Commission.
6. After completion of the tree planting process in the spring and autumn seasons, the Organiser shall, upon the email or telephone request of the customer referred to in paragraph 1, prepare and hand over a certificate with information on the number of trees planted from the orders of this client and the Organiser’s and Partner’s stamp.

 

• PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING NOTICE

Information on the processing of personal data by the Organiser is appended to these Rules.

 

• FINAL PROVISIONS

1. The Rules are available on the website at:

https://opolgraf.com.pl/regulaminy throughout the duration of the Campaign and 14 days after the end of the Campaign, subject to any failure or interruption of the website. The Rules are also available at the Organiser’s office.

2. The provisions of these Rules shall enter into force on the date of publication.
3. The Organiser shall be entitled to amend the provisions of these Rules at any time. The amended Rules shall apply from the time they are published on the website referred to in paragraph 1.
4. The Organiser shall not be liable if it is unable to fulfil the Campaign in whole or in part as a result of the default of other entities (e.g. a postal service, telecommunications company or computer network controller) or an act of God (e.g. a natural disaster, terrorist attack or threat thereof) or the issuing of decisions or legal acts by public authorities resulting from the declaration of a state of epidemic or pandemic caused, inter alia, by the SARS-COV-2 virus, introducing restrictions or prohibitions on the Organiser’s or the Partner’s activities.
5. Any doubts as to the interpretation of the provisions of the Rules shall be resolved exclusively by the Organiser.
6. The possibility of any appeals, objections or protests by participants in the Campaign in respect of any action or decision of the Organiser in relation to the Campaign is excluded.
7. Any disputes arising from these Rules shall be finally resolved by the Organiser, and in the event of the necessity of taking the matter to court, the competent court shall be the common court according to the seat of the Organiser.
8. Any matters not covered by these Rules shall be governed by generally applicable provisions of Polish law, including in particular the Civil Code and other laws.
